Radioactive Ammunition Fired in Middle East May Claim More Lives Than Hiroshima and Nagasaki

This is a link I snagged from Harper's. If this is true, it's really crazy. I'm pretty sure it means that almost everyone else in the world will eventually die from it too?

Today I thought that I saw the smallest amount of tiny snowflakes falling outside of the window, but then got worried that it was ash from Mt. Tabor erupting after I realized how improbable snow was. It turned out that it was a small amount of tiny bugs flying around. Are bugs in November normal?
