I have been thinking about this episode of Seinfeld recently. I think it's because I have a lot in common with it right now. I hope the chicks' lamp doesn't turn me into Kramer. It's amazing how topical Seinfeld still is after all these years.

On Saturday Timothy and I went to Foster's Feed and Seed. There we bought three chicks and one baby duck. Wow, these birds are great! They live in my room, where they smell it up and make it hot with their heating lamp. They wake me up sometimes at night with their scuffling, but I don't mind as I have not slept through the night in months anyway. Their peeps are so small that they are no bother. The duck is growing faster than the chicks. I'm lovin' motherhood!
